Shipping Policy

ℹ️ Prahi does not process payments online. All orders are confirmed personally via WhatsApp or phone before shipment.

How It Works

Once you express interest in a product through our inquiry form or WhatsApp, we confirm availability and discuss delivery personally. Shipment is arranged only after mutual agreement on the product, price, and delivery details.

Delivery Timeframes

Timeframes are estimates and may vary depending on your location, carrier availability, and customs processing for non-EU destinations.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs vary depending on your country and the size/weight of your order. We will confirm the exact shipping cost during our personal communication before you commit to any purchase.

Shipping Countries

We currently ship to all countries within the European Union and selected European countries outside the EU. If you are unsure whether we ship to your location, please contact us via WhatsApp before placing an inquiry.

Packaging

All sarees and garments are carefully folded and packed to preserve their quality during transit. Silk sarees are wrapped in tissue paper before packaging.

Tracking

Once your order is shipped, we will share the tracking number with you via WhatsApp so you can follow your parcel.

Customs & Import Duties

For deliveries outside Germany, local customs duties or import taxes may apply. These are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the product or shipping price. Please check with your local customs authority before ordering.

Returns & Exchange Policy

💬 Since all purchases at Prahi are handled personally, we handle returns and exchanges the same way — directly and with care.

Return Window

You may return a product within 14 days of receiving it, provided it meets the conditions below.

How to Initiate a Return

Contact us via WhatsApp at +49 176 34340719 with your order details and reason for return. We will guide you through the process personally.

Return Shipping

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item was received damaged or incorrect. We recommend using a tracked shipping service for returns.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund within 7 business days. Refunds are issued via the same payment method used for the original purchase.

Exchanges

If you would like to exchange an item for a different colour or style, please contact us. Exchanges are subject to availability and are processed as a new order after the return is received.

2. What Data We Collect and Why

Inquiry Form: When you submit an inquiry, we collect your name, WhatsApp/phone number, and message. This is used solely to respond to your inquiry. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Reviews: If you submit a review, your name, product reference, rating and comment are stored and displayed publicly. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).

Server Logs: Our hosting providers automatically collect standard log data (IP address, browser, pages visited). This is deleted after 7 days. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

3. Use of WhatsApp

We use WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) for customer communication. Your data is processed by Meta under their privacy policy.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. It is shared only with our hosting providers (Cloudflare Pages, Render, Supabase) under EU Standard Contractual Clauses, and Meta/WhatsApp as described above.

5. Cookies

We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. Your wishlist is stored in your browser's localStorage only — it never leaves your device.

6. Your Rights

This website is a catalogue and inquiry platform only. No payments are processed online. All purchases are agreed and settled personally via WhatsApp or phone before any shipment takes place.

3. Product Availability

All products shown on this website are subject to availability. Displaying a product does not guarantee it is in stock. We confirm availability personally for every order.

4. Pricing

All prices shown are in Euros (€) and include German VAT where applicable. Prices do not include shipping costs, which are confirmed separately. We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice.

5. Inquiry Process

Submitting an inquiry or adding items to your wishlist does not constitute a purchase or binding order. A binding agreement is only formed when both parties confirm the order, price, and delivery details via WhatsApp or phone.

6. Product Descriptions

We make every effort to display product colours and descriptions accurately. However, colours may appear slightly different on different screens. Minor variations in handwoven fabrics are natural and not considered defects.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including product images, text, and the Prahi brand — is the property of Prathiba Prabhakaran. You may not reproduce or use any content without written permission.
